Pixie Park is more than just a playground—it’s a volunteer-run co-op that has been a cherished space for young children and their families since the early 1950s. We operate as a self-sustaining 501(c)(3) non-profit, leasing our beautiful grounds from the Marin Art and Garden Center and maintaining them entirely through the dedication of our member-volunteers.

Our Commitment to Inclusion While our gate remains locked for safety, our hearts are open. We believe every child deserves a beautiful place to play. To ensure Pixie remains accessible to everyone while still covering our significant maintenance costs, we offer:

• Monthly Open Houses: We invite the public to explore the park once a month—perfect for a casual visit or to see if Pixie is right for your family.

Member Involvement Our park thrives because of you. As a co-op, we have no paid employees; we rely on membership fees, fundraising, and the "sweat equity" of our members. All members are encouraged to contribute their time and talents to help keep the park beautiful. Please note that our membership year concludes each year on August 31.
